Our guide welcomes you at Otopeni International Airport and then we transfer you to your 4* hotel in downtown Bucharest.
The day starts in Bucharest with a panoramic tour of the city: Free Press Square, Arch of Triumph, Victory Square and Avenue, Royal Palace, Revolution Square, a visit to the Village Museum, one of the most impressive open-air museums in Europe and the Palace of Parliament, the world’s largest, heaviest and most expensive administrative building. Next, you can enjoy free time and lunch in the amazing Old Town. The tour continues with Cozia Monastery, the oldest and most complex historical monument in Romania and the medieval city of Sibiu. Accommodation in a 4* hotel in Sibiu.
After breakfast in the hotel, you will explore Sibiu’s medieval charm in a walking tour in the old city center and after this you will travel by modern bus to the beautiful city of Alba Iulia to visit the unique Alba Carolina Fortress, the largest and best-preserved in Romania. After lunch, the tour takes you to Hunedoara region to visit the Hunyad Castle, a Gothic-Renaissance castle, one of the largest and most impressive castles in Europe. Accommodation in the same hotel as the previous night.
This is the last day in Sibiu, after breakfast in the hotel you will travel to the town of Turda to visit the Salt Mine, an impressive underground complex with history going back to Roman times and unique hypogeal sceneries. After this journey to the center of the earth, the tour of Transylvania continues with Sighisoara, one of the most beautiful and best-preserved medieval towns in Europe, part of UNESCO World Heritage sites. Accommodation in a 4* hotel in Sighisoara.
The day starts with breakfast in the hotel and then a city tour of Sighisoara, a stunning medieval town and the birthplace of Dracula. Next, the tour takes you to Viscri village, another UNESCO World Heritage site of unspoiled beauty and serenity that fascinated the Prince of Wales so deeply that he bought and restored a house here. From Viscri, the tour of Transylvania continues with another amazing medieval city you will explore in a walking tour - Brasov. You will spend the night in Brasov.
After breakfast in the hotel, you will travel to Zarnesti for an amazing experience, a visit to Bears Libearty Sanctuary where rescued bears live in their natural environment. Next on your adventure, you arrive in Bran where you visit the world famous Dracula Castle and have lunch in this intriguing lands in the heart of Transylvania. You will also visit and explore the impressive hilltop Rasnov Fortress and then return to Brasov for another night in the same hotel.
After breakfast, you will travel to Sinaia, known as “The Pearl of the Carpathians” and visit Sinaia Monastery and one of the most stunning castles in Europe, Peles Castle. From here, you will return to Bucharest and check into your hotel for the last night of the tour. Accommodation in a 4* hotel in downtown Bucharest.
On the last day of the tour, after breakfast, you can enjoy free time and explore more sights in this dynamic city that proudly displays its history alongside modern culture.
